Abhishek Saha

Abhishek Saha is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California San Diego. Before joining UCSD in 2018, Prof. Saha was an Associate Research Scholar in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University. He received his MS and PhD degrees, both in Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Central Florida in 2010 and 2012, respectively. He received the Outstanding Dissertation Award for the quality, content, and exemplary nature of his PhD research. In 2022, Prof. Saha received the CAREER award from the National Science Foundation. 

Brooklyn Asai

Brooklyn joined Saha Research Group as a PhD student in Fall 2022. Prior to arriving at UCSD she received her undergraduate and Master's degree (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University. Her current research focuses on droplet impact on liquid surfaces.

After completing his BS in Aerospace Engineering at UCSD, Jose joined our group as a PhD student in Fall 2022. His current research focuses on dynamics and propagation of flames.

Ryuta Hijiya

Ryuta completed his BS in Aerospace Engineering at UCSD and joined our group as a Masters' student in Fall 2024. His current research focuses on droplet impact on waves and subsequent jetting.

Krish Bhagat
